SUNRISE, SUNSET.

because of the typhoon, we didn't have classes for two days and i was bummed because there was no electricity either. i couldn't go online, watch tv, hell, i can't even read a book since it was too dark! but since dad bought this nifty flashlight which was pretty much emitted enough light for me to paint, i grabbed a plain carton and my sister's water colors and started to paint. (:

this is the end result of my boredom. i called it "sunrise, sunset" mainly because i can't decide whether it's supposed to be sunrise or sunset XP oh well. this is actually my first attempt at painting with blends or however that is called. my old paintings (and i mean OLD ones) were just chunks of colors together and nothing really special. this painting might not be the prettiest but somehow, i'm proud of it and i had fun doing it (:

EYEGLASSES & EYE PROBLEMS

this is me with & without my old glasses.

i wear these only when i’m about to sleep and when i wake up. i have a horrible eyesight because i have inherited it from my mother’s side of the family. believe it or not, my right eye, the one which is a “lazy eye”, has a grade of over 1000 while my left eye is over 500. which means that if i don’t wear my contacts or my glasses, all i can see are fuzzy colors and shapes unless the object is half a meter away from my face. 

NORTH PARK + ENCHANTED KINGDOM

my sister went to her field trip where they went to enchanted kingdom. god i miss that place! i miss riding anchor's away and flying fiesta! let's not forget about the rio grande rapids! woohoo! i'm hyped since mom booked tickets for us which we'll use on our sembreak. XD can't wait!

anywho! we went to pick her up at our school then went to north park greenhills for dinner. yummy!

lapu-lapu fillet, tofu & beef with mushroom and broccoli. i'm so full i can't sleep. >__> but still! it was all soooo good!

if there's one thing i love other than music and art, that's fashion. i just loooooove fashion. mixing and matching clothes are what i love most. incorporating something that doesn't usually go together and making them match is something i really like doing. although, i don't have the money nor the awesome wardrobe to have it on myself but there's always polyvore.com (:

DATE WITH DAD (:

today was just super tiring! we slept late last night/morning (around 2am i think) because we watched x-men first class and we still didn't finish because my sister had to sleep early because she'll take the entrance test to ateneo (acet).

slept late, woke up around 10am then had brunch before taking my sister to ateneo. then, dad and i went to robinson's galleria to have my teeth x-ray. then a couple more errands then we decided to stop at starbucks to have some snack and rest. the barista at sb was super friendly. i think most of them are. although, i'm always confused since whenever my friends order, they don't talk to the baristas but when i'm the one ordering, they always chat me up. not that i'm complaining. XD

dad got busy on playing angry birds on his phone. typical. haha! soooo after resting a while, we went back to buying last minute stuffs then went back to ateneo and waited at the parking lot. while waiting for nix, we watched two episodes of white collar, season 3. (:

Fashion Addict

again, i was waiting for monica in the library yesterday so i got bored and took out my journal and started drawing again. its not my best go at fashion drawing stuff. legs and feet are my enemy. i find it so hard to draw them. T___T

my inspiration, Ebba Zingmark from lookbook.nu she's awesome. her looks are always amazing no matter how simple it may be. 

HOGWARTS SANITARIUM (FANFIC)

this is one amazing story. i haven't actually finished it yet but i first encountered it at the hpfanfic podcast. the reader, Snitchsista, is amazing! she did all the voices of the characters like it really was their respective actors & actresses! of course, the story, which is written by HollyH, is a genius. it's a definite must read to all Harry Potter fans, especially the fanfic readers. (:

THE LITTLE THINGS HE DOES

it just makes me smile. the way he looks at me after he cracks a joke just to see if i’m laughing too, his own little way of showing that he cares about how i’m doing, when he calls my attention and shows me that playful smirk when he notices i’m too quiet…
it might not be something drastic but right now, it’s one of the very few things that puts a real smile on my face.
i just miss the way we normally were before. i miss him. i miss everything.

OC (OBSESSIVE COMPULSIVE)

that's Obsessive Compulsive. everyone has their certain quirks. i was inspired by Chico and Gino from RX 93.1 since i downloaded their podcast in iTunes. you guys should download it too. i just laughed my ass off while listening to them!

• i have this personal OC thing about colors. with my oil pastels, acrylic paints and colored pens, they have to be arranged in ROYGBIV. i get so frustrated when it gets messed up and i have to arrange them in order.

• or like with my money? the paper bills have to be in ascending order AND the soft, old ones first graduating to the crispy new bills. also, each bill has to be folded in half, the face hidden, before i put it in my wallet. then i also spend it from the softest old ones to the newer ones. 
• last one that i could recall right now is when i'm in a car and then i feel the front tires go through a hump or a hole so you'd expect the back tires to also go through that same hump or hole but then the driver avoids it so as when i expect it, the bump doesn't come, i cringe! i feel sick at the pit of my stomach.

so do you guys have that kind of quirks? lemme know! (:

MISSING MY BESTIE

this was my going-away/birthday gift to my darling best friend, nica. (: it's not much but i gave it my best shot anyway.

she lives in las vegas and she came back here in manila for her summer vacation. we've been friends for around 15 years already (we got separated for almost 5 years since she migrated to vegas with her family) and she's practically my soul mate. i love her so much!

DE-STRESSING MONDAY

i was able to get some SB today but i had to drink some frappe since it was just too hot out earlier. i needed something cold. and i was kinda disappointed that i wasn't able to see the scrapbook that they had where our picture was. ): i've been dying to see it since Mon, one of the baristas there, told me that my college friends and i are one of their frequent customers so they put a picture of us in their scrapbook. i really really want to see it! i'll take a picture of it when i get a chance. (:

went to the library after a quick cigarette break and wrote my hours away. i love writing! i think i finished full five pages while listening to my favorite tunes. (newest ear sex: dia frampton from the voice XD)

i'm in love with these kind of style. chic, modern, clean and full of books! when i get my own job and earn enough money, i will most definitely buy a flat and have it styled like this. i'm sure by bestie won't mind since we already talked about living together when she comes back here. XD

HARRY POTTER FAN FICTION

i'm so glad that my HP fanfic is coming along great (: the number of reads is going up and the reviews are all heart-warming! i'm currently writing the seventh chapter and about to publish the sixth chapter in a couple of days.
